EQVUS was born from the gaze of Lina Damaskopoulou. Somewhere in her high-school Latin books, the word equus - the horse - stopped her on the page. A creature carrying everything: movement, strength, freedom, dignity. And just like that, a school subject became a spark of inspiration.
Years later, when the time came to name her own production company,
equus returned - with a small, symbolic twist.
For branding purposes (and perhaps destiny), it gained a “V”.
- V for Voice.
Because every story needs a voice.
- V for Vision.
Because every gaze seeks its own way to be told.
- V for Victory.
Because every finished project is a small victory against chaos, time, and the eternal “we’ll do it tomorrow.”
And so EQVUS was born. A name carrying the energy of movement, the stubborn joy of creation, and the thrill of telling stories that deserve to stay.
